Directed by Barnet Kellman, previews are scheduled to begin June 7 prior to an official opening June 19. Tickets are now on sale.

The cast will be headed by Oscar winner and multiple Tony nominee Estelle Parsons, two-time Tony winner Judith Ivey, Zorba's Angelina Fiordellisi and Disgraced's Francesca Choy-Kee.

The new play, according to press notes, "depicts what happens when four women arrive in Paris for the funeral of a 100-year-old man who loved each of them – at times variously, at time simultaneously. For 24 hours, they share his apartment, delicious secrets, and a dead cat."

A free public reading of the play – featuring the Off-Broadway cast – will be presented Feb. 26 at 3 PM at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Reservations can be made at [email protected]. On Feb. 25 at 7 PM, a reading will be presented – again with the complete cast – at Westport Country Playhouse in Westport, CT. Admission to the Westport reading is $10 with ticket purchase available at westportplayhouse.org.

Out of the Mouths of Babes marks a reunion with the playwright and Parsons, who starred in My Old Lady, and with Ivey, who starred opposite Jason Robards on Broadway in Horovitz’s Park Your Car in Harvard Yard.
