Off-Broadway News Edinburgh Fringe Favorite Tragedy Plus Time Will Play Off-Broadway

The Ed Byrne solo show will play Soho Playhouse next month.

Off-Broadway's Soho Playhouse will host the U.S. premiere of Ed Byrne’s solo show Tragedy Plus Time, which previously enjoyed a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Running November 4–12, the show is a comedic tribute to Byrne's recently deceased brother Paul, and the realities of sibling discord and reconciliation, as well as the way time can turn bereavement into beloved memory.

Byrne is a successful comic in the U.K., where he has hosted Live at the Apollo and Comic Relief Bake Off, and where he regularly appears on the panel show Mock The Week. He has also appeared on The Late Show with Conan O'Brien, QI, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, The Pilgrimage, Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay, Dara & Ed’s Big Adventure, The Graham Norton Show, and Have I Got News For You.
