More casting has been revealed for MasterVoices' upcoming season finale concert presentation of Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe, playing Carnegie Hall May 3. MasterVoices Artistic Director and Tony winner Ted Sperling will be at the baton.

Newly joining the company are Tony winners Christine Ebersole as The Queen of the Fairies and Santino Fontana as George and Tony nominee David Garrison as The Lord Chancellor. They will share the stage with the previously announced Shereen Ahmed as Iolanthe, Schyler Vargas as Strephon, Ashley Fabian as Phyllis, Jason Danieley as Thomas, and Phillip Boykin as Private Willis.

The comic opera, first performed in 1882, centers on its titular character, a fairy banished from fairyland for marrying a mortal. A case of mistaken identity leads to a battle between London's House of Peers and the fairies, all while satirizing British government and society.
