Cabaret & Concert News Chilina Kennedy and Constantine Maroulis Set for 1-Night-Only Reading of All the Rage Musical

Karen Carpenter will direct the new work from Larry Kirwan.

Chilina Kennedy and Constantine Maroulis

Chilina Kennedy (Paradise Square) and Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) will star in a one-night-only reading of All the Rage, a new musical from Tony nominee Larry Kirwan (Paradise Square).

Part of the 2024 Sparks Theatre Festival, the evening will be presented March 12 at 7 PM at the 28th Street Theatre (TADA). Karen Carpenter will direct the performance with musical direction by Mark Fifer.

All the Rage casts Kennedy as Shelley and Maroulis as Rick, star-crossed lovers. The musical is set in 2009 when Shelley suddenly shows up at Rick’s East Village apartment. Former bandmates and lovers, 23 years have passed since their tumultuous break-up.

Emerging Artists Theatre, Chuck Braverman, Adam Weinstock, and Peter LeDonne produce.

28th Street Theatre is located at 15 West 28th Street on the second floor.
