Katie Holmes is a busy person. Not only is she currently starring in a play Off-Broadway (The Wanderers at Roundabout), but audiences will soon see the release of her latest film, Rare Objects. Check out the trailer above.
Adapted from Kathleen Tessaro's novel of the same name, Rare Objects is directed, produced, and co-written by Holmes, who also co-stars. This is her third directed feature following 2016's All We Had and 2022's Alone Together.
The movie stars Julia Mayorga as a young woman seeking to rebuild her life with a new job in an antiques store and a new friendship with a socialite she'd previously met when hospitalized. In addition to Mayorga and Holmes, the cast includes Tony winner Alan Cumming, Derek Luke, and David Alexander Flinn.
