The Birmingham Rep, Leeds Playhouse, and Fiery Angel Production of Of Mice and Men will begin performances at Birmingham Rep March 18 for a limited engagement through April 8.
The stage adaptation of John Steinbeck’s classic novel will subsequently play the Cambridge Arts Theatre (April 19-22), Malvern Theatres (April 25-29), Bath Theatre Royal (May 2-6), and Leeds Playhouse (May 11-27).
The cast will be led by Maddy Hill as Curley’s Wife, Tom McCall as George, Reece Pantry as Crooks, Lee Ravitz as Candy, Riad Richie as Curley, and Wiliam Young as Lennie with Jake Benson as Puppeteer and understudy, James Clyde as The Boss, Simon Darwen as Slim, Edward Judge as Carlson, and Stuart Quigley as Whit. Rep Associate Director Iqbal Khan directs.

The production also has set and lighting design by Ciarán Bagnall, puppet direction and creation by Michael Crouch, movement and fight direction by Yarit Dor, voice and dialect coaching by Ellen Hartley, casting by Annelie Powell, costume design by Kay Wilton, and sound design and music by composer Elizabeth Purnell.
The production manager is Jennifer Taillefer, and the associate director is Caroline Wilkes.
