Drama Desk nominee Tony Speciale will direct a cast that includes the previously reported Matt Doyle (Book of Mormon), Jennifer Cody (Shrek) and Sheffield Chastain (Is He Dead?). Newly announced for the readings are Tony nominee Chad Kimball, Mary Beth Peil, Elizabeth Morton and Academy Award winner James Lecesne.
Producers are Lawrence Leritz and Dominic Paolillo.
The Lost Boy, according to press notes, tells the "compelling story of a well-known author, who in the shadow of his own international writing success, confronts his haunted past, his brother's untimely death, a family that has scorned him, and his own dissatisfaction with the illusions of fame and fortune."
The play premiered Oct. 28, 2005, at the Helen Hayes Theater Company in Nyack, NY.
Late playwright Pallilo is best known for his work on the hit TV series "Welcome Back Kotter."
