The Broadway by the Year concert series will continue May 21 at 8 PM at The Town Hall.
The evening, created, written, directed, and hosted by Scott Siegel, will spotlight songs from shows that opened in 1956 (the first act) and 1975 (the second act).
Bringing these songs to life will be Tony nominee Carolee Carmello (recently seen Off-Broadway in Sweeney Todd), Grammy winner John Easterlin, Drama Desk nominee Cheryl Freeman, Luke Grooms, Douglas Ladnier, Maxine Linehan, Kyle Selig (currently on Broadway in Mean Girls), Oakley Boycott, and Joshua Israel.
Attendees can expect to hear songs from 1956’s My Fair Lady, The Most Happy Fella, Li’l Abner, Bells Are Ringing, and Candide and 1975’s The Wiz, Shenandoah, Chicago, and A Chorus Line.
