Casting has been announced for the Bucks County Playhouse production of Larry Shue's The Nerd, which will play the New Hope, Pennsylvania venue June 23–July 15.
The cast will be headed by Grant Shaud (Relatively Speaking, Murphy Brown) as Warnock, Zuzanna Szadkowski (Gossip Girl, The Knick) as Clelia Walgrave, and Joe Kinosian (co-creator and co-star of Murder for Two) as the titular nerd, Rick Steadman.

Rick shows up unexpectedly at his apartment on the night of Willum's birthday, and it turns out not only he is a bumbling oaf, but he also has no plans to leave.
Directed by Marc Vietor, the production will have set design by Maruti Evans, lighting design by Thom Weaver, costume design by Annie Simon, and sound design by Greg Pliska. Alyssa Howard is production stage manager.
