Langella, whose stage and screen career spans over 50 years, won his most recent Tony Award this year for Best Actor in a Play for his performance in The Father—a role that also garnered him his sixth Drama Desk Award and his fourth Outer Critics Circle Award. He was awarded the same trifecta of prestigious awards in 2002 for his performance in Fortune’s Fool, and again in 2007 for his performance in Frost/Nixon. Langella is also an Oscar nominee for Frost/Nixon. On the screen he was most recently seen in HBO’s All The Way, Youth in Oregon and The Americans. His stage credits include Man and Boy, A Man for All Seasons, Strindberg’s The Father, Cyrano de Bergerac and The Tempest.
