Cabaret & Concert News Broadway’s Future Season Will Launch With Diversity Concert September 24 Andre Ward, Jim Newman, Adam Hyndman, Carol Skarimbas, Blake Zolfo, Futaba Shioda, and more will perform.

Broadway’s Future Songbook Series, presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow, will launch its 2018–2019 season September 24 with a free concert in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.

Produced and hosted by John Znidarsic, the first concert, entitled Diversity, will feature new songs written and performed by a variety of artists from all walks of life. Show time is 6 PM.

Attendees can expect to hear the work of songwriters Hyeyoung Kim, Michael Cooper, Tobias Arizio, Rafael Rodriguez, Richard Pearson Thomas, Kenneth Lopez, Florian Klein, Thomas Zaufke, Erik Ransom, Preston Allen, Melissa Hirsch, Chris Hlinka, Karen Jacobson, Benjamin Barham-Wiese, Alanya Bridge, Morgan Smart, Meagan Cadet, Ty DeFoe, and Tidtaya Sinutoke.


Performers will include Jim Newman (Hands on a Hardbody), Adam Hyndman (Once On This Island), Carol Skarimbas (Follies), Andre Ward (Escape to Margaritaville), Blake Zolfo (Kid Victory), Futaba Shioda (Rent), Jonathan Dely, Leonard Cohen, Tobias Arizio, Rafael Rodriguez, Bryan Fender Shirley, Ross Baum, Kenneth Lopez, Emma Brawley, Matt Baker, Hyeyoung Kim, Luke Krafka, Gabe Violett, Benjamin Barham-Wiese, Anessa Marie, Nick Hetko, and Alex Offenkranz.
