Erik Altemus, seen on Broadway in Pippin and Off-Broadway in The Fantasticks, has released the second chapter from his new visual album Desideratum.
The first single, “Backroom Parties,” dropped July 7. Watch it here.
“A/E,” the second installment on the album, has just been released. Both tracks are now available to stream on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, and Pandora.

Altemus wrote and conceived the five-track EP of original music that he is releasing in installments throughout the summer. Each visual single will offer another chapter in what he describes as “an epic journey of self discovery told through music, dance, and film.”
The video for “A/E” was directed by Simon English, and features choreography by Ljuba Castot. It was produced in association with Brooklyn-based photography studio Dirty Sugar. “A/E,” written by Altemus, was recorded and produced by Dutch producer Chew Fu.
“As living beings we have a moral obligation to treat all people on this planet, the Earth itself and finally, ourselves with love and compassion,” Altemus writes. “This song is a reminder to marvel at the gift of life with respect and gratitude. With everything going on in the world right now, the song's message seems to resonate truer then ever. We all are one, we are everything.”
