News Broadway Names Highlight Variety's "Gotham 60": See Who's on the List! An ample number of Broadway folk were chosen by Variety, the entertainment business magazine, for its annual "Gotham 60: Influential New Yorkers in Entertainment and Media" feature.

The list includes names from the worlds of movies, TV, news, pop music, broadcasting, advertising, internet, comedy and talent agents, but the stage is well represented as well. The 60 names include:

Oskar Eustis & Patrick Willingham: Respectively the artistic director and executive director of the Public Theater.

Sutton Foster: Tony-winning actress, Thoroughly Modern Mille, Anything Goes.

Randi Goldstein: Partner in the Gersh talent agency, whole clients include Tony winner Kelli O'Hara.

Jake Gyllenhaal: Actor in film, TV and, recently, Broadway and Off-Broadway.

Power Couple: Lia Vollack and Derek McLane: He’s a Tony-winning set designer (Beautiful); she's a former stage sound designer, president of worldwide music for Sony Pictures.

Todd Haimes: Artistic director, Roundabout Theatre Company.

Lin-Manuel Miranda: Actor/writer/composer, Hamilton.

John Cameron Mitchell: Actor, writer, director; star of his own Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

James L. Nederlander: Chairman, Nederlander Organization.

Lily Rabe: Tony-nominated actress, The Merchant of Venice Shakespeare in the Park.

Bartlett Sher: Tony-winning stage director, South Pacific, The King and I, The Light in the Piazza.

Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron: Respectively, the Tony-winning composer and playwright-lyricist of Fun Home.
