Beloved and very real Broadway legend Barbara Dixon (née Leah Sprecher) brings her new solo show Broadway Barbara LIVE! Off-Broadway to SoHo Playhouse for a five-show limited engagement beginning April 9 and continuing through April 17.
Described as a "glittering theatrical event," the show features songs, stories, and some Fosse dance moves as Dixon recounts her wild life and career. Conceived by Sprecher, the show is written and directed by both Sprecher and Brad Stevens.
Sprecher's character became a TikTok legend after being created at The Groundlings in 2018. She previously brought Dixon to the stage for live performances in 2021 in NYC, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, London, and Los Angeles, where she had a residency at The Bourbon Room.
The show is produced by The Fabulous Invalid's Jamie DuMont and Rob Russo.
