Tony Award winner Ben Platt will bring his concert to Radio City Music Hall September 29.
Platt is currently on tour with his debut solo album Sing To Me Instead, and during his May 14 concert at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, he announced that he’d return to his home city in the fall. He of course previously took the Radio City stage in 2017 to accept his Tony Award for his title performance in Dear Evan Hansen.
Sing To Me Instead was released March 29; Platt launched his U.S. tour May 3. The concert features opening acts American singer-songwriter Wrabel and Australian singer-songwriter Ben Abraham. The latter collaborated with Platt on tracks for the album.
Next year, Carnegie Hall's house band will perform Bernstein’s “Kaddish” Symphony, unfinished works by Schubert, and the final concert of Conductor Bernard Labadie.
