This showmance went the distance! Broadway Dear Evan Hansen stars Ben Platt and Noah Galvin have tied the knot, two years after becoming engaged. Congratulations to the happy couple.
The pair invited Vogue Wedding into their private nuptials, with photos by Ro Agents-Juska.
“We couldn’t have asked for anything more,” shared Galvin. “We are still floating. And mostly we’re happy we get to keep hanging out forever.”
"Our greatest hope was to give everyone a joyful, low-stress weekend full of warmth and a window into our relationship and the life that we are building,” added Platt. “And we wanted the dancing to go off. We feel that all missions were accomplished!”
Galvin took over the lead role in Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen from Platt; Galvin was the first replacement. Since then, Platt reprised his performance in the movie adaptation of the Pasek and Paul musical and has gone on to appear in The Politician and The People We Hate at the Wedding, along with a stage return in New York City Center's gala production of Jason Robert Brown's Parade.
Galvin starred in The Real O'Neals before appearing in Booksmart, The Other Two, and The Good Doctor. On stage, Galvin followed up his run in Dear Evan Hansen by playing Ogie in Waitress on Broadway. Both Platt and Galvin starred in the film Theatre Camp, co-written by Galvin and Platt with Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman.
