Six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, most recently on Broadway in Ohio State Murders, will head Down Under next year for an Australian concert tour that launches May 4, 2024, at the Crown Perth Theatre in Perth.
The Broadway favorite, who will also play dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, said in a statement, “I’m delighted to return to Australia, and once again
perform at the iconic Sydney Opera House and the wonderful Hamer Hall in
Melbourne. This trip marks my first time performing in Brisbane,
Adelaide, and Perth, and I can’t wait to get to know the Australian
audiences and experience these beautiful cities next May.”

May 4 in Perth at the Crown Perth Theatre May 8 in Adelaide at Her Majesty’s Theatre May 11 in Sydney at Sydney Opera House Concert Hall May 15 in Brisbane at QPAC Concert Hall May 17 in Melbourne at Arts Centre Melbourne Hamer Hall
McDonald won Tony Awards for her performances in Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime, A Raisin in the Sun, Porgy and Bess, and Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, which includes wins in all four performance categories. On screen, she has appeared in The Good Wife, Private Practice, The Good Fight, and more.
Next year, Carnegie Hall's house band will perform Bernstein’s “Kaddish” Symphony, unfinished works by Schubert, and the final concert of Conductor Bernard Labadie.
