Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and Tony Award nominee Thomas Sadoski (Other Desert Cities, The Newsroom) will co-star in the Los Angeles premiere of Amy Herzog’s Belleville at the Pasadena Playhouse this spring.

Jenna Worsham directs the April 18–May 13 run that will officially open April 22. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Herzog’s play, about newlywed American ex-pats whose seemingly perfect life in Paris is shattered over the course of a tension-filled night, debuted at Yale Repertory Theatre in 2011. It premiered Off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop in 2013, and recently concluded its London premiere at the Donmar Warehouse.

Belleville will be followed by a revival of Culture Clash’s Bordertown Now (May 29–June 24), which has been re-imagined and re-mixed by Obie Award winner Diane Rodriguez since it debuted 20 years ago

Herzog garnered acclaim for her 2011 play 4000 Miles, which played an extended run Off-Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater. Her plays also include After the Revolution, The Great God Pan, and Mary Jane.
