The upcoming drama Our Son is packed with Broadway talent! Under the direction of Bill Oliver, Broadway favorites Andrew RannellsKate BurtonPhylicia Rashad, and Isaac Powell are included in the cast, Deadline reports.

Previously-announced cast members Luke Evans and Tony winner Billy Porter lead the movie which follows a divorcing couple and their custody battle over their eight-year-old son. The movie recently wrapped filming and will be distributed by CAA Media Finance.

Two-time Tony nominee Rannells is best known for his stage roles in Book of Mormon, the 2016 Falsettos revival, Hamilton, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He was last seen on Broadway as Larry in The Boys in the Band, later reprising the role in the 2020 film adaptation by Ryan Murphy. Recently, he was cast in Hulu's upcoming series Immigrant, which is a dark comedy that will tell the real-life story of Chippendales founder Somen Banerjee.

Stage and screen actor Burton made her Broadway debut in the cast of Present Laughter in 1982. Since, the three-time Tony nominee has starred in productions of Company, Hadda Gabler, and Spring Awakening. She has also been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards for her work in Grey's Anatomy and Sally Langston

2022 Tony winner Rashad, who took home Best Featured Actor in a Play for her role in Skeleton Crew, has starred in numerous Broadway classics, such as The Wiz, Dreamgirls, A Raisin in the Sun, and Cat on a Tin Can Roof. She also held a recurring role in the hit TV series Empire and Cosby.

Powell made his Broadway debut in the 2017 revival of Once on This Island, before going on to star as Tony in the 2020 revival of West Side Story.

Our Son features a script by Oliver and Peter Nickowitz, producing by Fernando Loureiro , Guilherme Coelho, Eric Binns, Jennifer Lee, and Christopher Lin, with co-producing by Alex Peace-Power.
