
The 2008 annual Festival, running through Aug. 24, will be staged at 20 venues across New York City including the Cherry Lane Theatre, Soho Playhouse, Spiegelworld's Deluxe, the Connelly Theater, the Players Theater, the Theatres at 45 Bleecker, the Barrow Street Theatre and the CSV Cultural and Educational Center.
A selection of works premiering Aug. 8 include A December Eve's Visit with Frederick Demuth, All Hail The Great Serpent!, Anais Nin Goes to Hell, Ariel View, Baby Cow, China - The Whole Enchilada, Eggs and the Rebound Guy, FACE [Every Good Boy Does Fine], Hot Cripple, Lucasville: The Untold Story of a Prison Uprising, See How Beautiful I Am: The Return of Jackie Susann, Spite, The Alice Complex, The Amish Project, The Darling Children, The Gay No More Telethon, The Grecian Formula, the october crisis, The Umbrella Plays, Trees Like Nails and Triumph of the Underdog.
