Nominations are in for the 94th Annual Academy Awards, and Broadway favorites are among this year's nominees.

Ariana DeBose is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her turn as Anita in West Side Story, capping off a successful awards season that has already seen the Bronx Tale and Summer star win a Golden Globe and receive nominations for BAFTA, SAG, Critics' Choice, and NAACP Image Awards, among others. DeBose's nomination follows Rita Moreno's historic 1961 Oscar win, playing the same role in the earlier film adaptation of the Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Arthur Laurents musical.
