Nicola Walker will star as a mother whose son disappears.

Rehearsals are underway for the Josie Rourke-directed revival at London's National Theatre.

James McAvoy picked up Best Actor for playing Cyrano de Bergerac, which ran at Brooklyn Academy of Music earlier this year.

The National will also welcome a revival of Dancing at Lughnasa and more in 2023.

The Josie Rourke-directed production will play @sohoplace.

Josie Rourke will direct Leah Harvey, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Alfred Enoch, and Martha Plimpton in the newly built theatre's second production.

Inspired by the real-life story of Neil "Nello" Baldwin, the production will feature a company including neuro-divergent actors.
