In March, the podcast will dive deep into the legacy of Zora Neale Hurston, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Wakako Yamauchi, Lesya Ukrainka, and Hannah Cowley.

Featuring Victoria Detres, Nicole D'Angelo, PJ Ju, and November Christine, the talk covers access, community, and the future of the American theatre.

The conference, titled New Musicals on the Horizon, is set for October 24-25.

The initiative to bring more BIPOC producers into the commercial American theatre will support three additional producers in 2023.

The honors, recognizing the best in Toronto theatre, will be handed out September 19.
