A slew of Broadway favorites performed solo pieces in support of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals.

Theatres around America are announcing plans for their 2019–2020 seasons, as well as casting for upcoming productions.

The November 13 event is a benefit for the Off-Broadway Ars Nova troupe.

Now in its 27th year, the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's Festival of New Musicals will invite theatre producers from around the world to New York City to preview eight new shows in development Oct 15-16. Tony Award-nominee Sarah Stiles (Hand to God), Jake Epstein (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), Emily Padgett (Side Show), Zell Steele Morrow (Fun Home) and Emmy Raver-Lampman (Hamilton) are the latest to join the star-studded casts.

Now in its 27th year, The National Alliance for Musical Theatre's Festival of New Musicals invites theatre producers from around the world to preview eight new shows in development through 45-minute showcases. The event will kick off with The 46th Minute on Oct. 14, a concert featuring songs from this year's musicals that didn't make the mandatory 45-minute cut, sung by Broadway performers.

Included in the casts are Broadway actors Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!), Emily Skeggs (Fun Home), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening) and Margo Seibert (Rocky), among others.

The Songs of Jacob Yandura & Rebekah Greer Melocik will be held Feb. 16 at 54 Below. James Snyder, Greg Hildreth, Jenni Barber and Ben Fankhauser are among the evening's lineup.
