Peter Zeisler

Peter Zeisler, a major name in the resident not-for-profit theatre community, died Jan. 16, 2005, at his home in Dobbs Ferry, NY, according to The New York Times. Mr. Zeisler, one of the founders of the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and the longtime executive director of the Theatre Communications Group, an advocacy organization that publishes American Theatre magazine, was 81. The cause of death was heart failure.
