This is all for year 2 of THE CHER SHOW. Currently, all other roles are cast.

[GREGG ALLMAN/JOHN SOUTHALL] Male, 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. Known for his success as part of “The Allman Brothers Band”. Starts a romantic relationship with Cher after her split from Sonny Bono and eventually they marry. Young, handsome, sexy, and surprisingly smart. Actor who plays Gregg Allman also doubles as Cher’s stepfather, John Southall. Must have an excellent pop/rock singing voice and guitar playing is a plus. Note: Rock’n Roll/Contemporary types welcome, not necessarily needing traditional musical theatre types. Rate: $1000/week min.

Storyline: Three actresses play Cher as we follow her meteoric career from childhood to her early years in Los Angeles through to her huge successful 1998 departure single “Believe”. The years pass on stage as the hit songs flow, allowing the audience to keep track of the rapid chronological events in Cher's life.
