DESCRIPTION

The North Country Center for the Arts at Jean's Playhouse, a 260-seat traditional summer stock theatre located in the rural resort town of Lincoln, NH, is seeking a Music Director / Pianist for its Winter production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. This is an original musical adaptation that premiered last year and is now an annual tradition. The show is written for a professional adult company of 12, 3 or 4 local children, and a 3-piece band (costumed onstage - Piano, Violin, & Cello).

Arrival: Friday, November 29
Start of Rehearsals: Saturday, November 30
Start of Tech Week: Tuesday, December 10
Performances: Friday, December 13 - Monday, December 16 (6 - 7 performances)
Departure: Either Monday, December 16 after student matinee, or Tuesday, December 17

Contract runs November 30 - December 16 (2.5 weeks). Compensation is $1,250 (to be paid as $500 / week), plus shared housing (single room) in either hotel suites or ski condos. A short contract, but the White Mountains are a beautiful place to spend a few weeks during the holiday season.
