Position: Customer Service Associate

Location: New York City Cruise Ship Terminals (Pier 88 in Midtown Manhattan, Pier 12 in Red Hook, Brooklyn)

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Shifts are generally during weekends, especially Sundays, from 8am-2pm, with additional shifts varying throughout the week

About Us: We are a dynamic team of Broadway theatre people operating a small kiosk inside two bustling New York Cruise Ship Terminals. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional baked goods, grab & go foods, beverages, and curated retail items to cruise ship passengers.

We are looking for dependable, respectful, hardworking, and down-to-earth people. This is the perfect schedule for students, actors, creative types, or anyone looking for a flexible gig.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve light food and beverages

Set up the retail space to attract and engage customers

Operate the point of sale system to process transactions accurately

Handle cash and card payments with care and precision

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kiosk at all times

Provide a warm and friendly experience to every customer

Assist with inventory management and restocking

Requirements:

Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred

Problem solver and quicker thinker

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.

Food handling certification a plus
