DESCRIPTION

MEP, the Producing and General Management Company, is currently seeking an experienced Company Manager for an upcoming Off-Broadway production this fall.

Position to start the week of October 14, 2024 and will conclude June 29, 2025.

The Company Manager must be a driven, dedicated and self-sufficient manager. This position combines supervision at the theatre and the tasks associated with working in a busy Producing and General Management Office. Must be resourceful, extremely detail-oriented, have excellent people management skills and be able to think outside the box. Must be a problem solver and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include those as typically assigned to a Company Manager such as:
*Cover all performances at theatre, coordinating with Stage Management to address all production/actor needs, with House Management on front of house concerns, and with Box Office on ticketing issues.
*Organizes all travel and housing needs for out-of-town actors and creative team.
*Process weekly payroll, union benefits, fees, and royalty payments.
*Processes fees and royalty payments for production staff.
*Coordinates special events, such as opening nights and special events.
*Manage house seats, ticket inventory, discounts, and other ticketing programs.
