International News West End's Mamma Mia! Announces Its New Stars

The international hit ABBA jukebox musical continues at London's Novello.

West End's Mamma Mia! has announced its new cast, who will take the stage at London's Novello Theatre beginning October 10. The musical has also released tickets through September 30, 2023.

Meg Hateley and Miles Henderson will portray Sophie and Sky in their West End debuts, joined by Norman Bowman (Les Misérables) as Sam, Christopher Dickins (Witness for the Prosecution) as Harry, Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Legally Blonde) as Eddie, and Jake Bailey (Matilda the Musical) as Pepper. Also making their West End debuts are Natasha Heyward as Ali, Olivia Lallo as Lisa, and Jennifer Adab in select performances as Donna.

Continuing to star are Mazz Murray as Donna, Josie Benson as Tanya, Gemma Goggin as Rosie, and Stephen Beckett as Bill. Rounding out the cast are Gemma Atkins, Natalie Jayne Hall, Jennifer Hepburn, Frankie Jones, Natalie Langston, Michael Storrs, and Simon Willmont. They will be joined by Zac Adlam, Victoria Anderson, Sinéad Courtney, Ellie-Grace Cousins, Lawrence Guntert, David Haydn, Olivia Neville, Annell Odartey, Jessie Odeleye, Callum Rose, Jack Rose, Robert Slatter, Jacob Young, Chloe Way, and Dan Wilshire.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus (of ABBA fame), Mamma Mia! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast.

Mamma Mia! originally opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre April 6, 1999, before transferring to the Prince of Wales Theatre in 2004, and then to the Novello Theatre in 2012. It reopened in the West End following the pandemic August 25, 2021.

The production is designed by Mark Thompson with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material, and arrangements by Martin Koch

Mamma Mia! is produced by Craymer, Richard East, and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.
