On September 15, Lin-Manuel Miranda and John Leguizamo hosted the annual Viva Broadway—an outdoor celebration presented by The Broadway League and AARP and sponsored by Spectrum to launch Hispanic Heritage Month.
During the event, numerous cast members of Latino heritage performed in Duffy Square. Among those performers was Mandy Gonzalez, who originated the role of Nina in In The Heights and currently plays Angelica Schuyler in Broadway’s hit Hamilton. She took to the stage to debut a song written by Hamilton creator Miranda from her new album.
