The new album, due August 25 from stories and the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, features four tracks of reimagined classics.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the partnership of songwriting legends Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization has partnered with stories, a producing company specializing in acoustic covers with a rotating cast of artists.

The result of the collaboration is the upcoming four-song EP songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein. Set to be released digitally August 25, the album will feature "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" from The Sound of Music, featuring India Carney; “Impossible” from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, featuring Hunter; “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel, featuring Mario Jose; and “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music, featuring Maeve Touhey.

See Carney, an alum of NBC's The Voice, perform the first track in the video above. Videos of the other three tracks will be released every day this week.

The EP, produced by Ryan Lerman, features Lerman and Greg Leisz on guitar, David Maemone on keyboard, and audio engineering and mixing by Caleb Parker. The music videos were shot and directed by Ricky Chavez and edited by Adam Kritzberg. It was recorded at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles.

The Rodgers & Hammerstein song catalog is owned and represented by Concord Music Publishing.
