News Tovah Feldshuh Will Get Her Diva On in Industry Reading of Stranger in My House Four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh, who can currently be seen in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," will head the cast of an industry-only presentation of Anna Simone Scott’s Stranger in My House. The Broadway vet will play a famous actress in the new play.

The reading, taking place Jan. 11, 2016, under the direction of Michael Parva, will also feature Olivia Oguma (Mamma Mia!) and John Stanisci (Irena’s Vow). It is presented by The Directors Company in association with Invictus Theatre Company.

"Scott’s Stranger In My House explores the contentious relationship between a famous actress (Feldshuh) grappling with her own self-doubts and her beleaguered son (Stanisci) who is reluctantly working as her assistant," state production notes. "The dramatic comedy follows the diva as she jeopardizes her reputation and her relationship with her son for one last shot at glory on the stage. A stranger in the form of an ambitious marine biology student (Oguma) becomes a catalyst for change in their lives."
