News The Who's Tommy, with Jeremy Kushnier, Launches Broadway & Cabaret Series Tonight The Ridgefield Playhouse, the Connecticut venue best known for rock bands, comedians and guest speakers, launches a Broadway & Cabaret Series Jan. 22.

The series, which kicks off with a concert version of The Who's Tommy, will also include evenings with Broadway favorites Joel Grey, Stephen Schwartz and Betty Buckley.

The Tommy concert features Michael Seelbach as Tommy, Daniel C. Levine as Cousin Kevin, Tricia Rapier as Mrs. walker, Matt Farnsworth as Captain Walker, Shayna Steele as the Acid Queen, Jeremy Kushnier as Uncle Ernie and Jackson Bennett as Young Tommy with music direction by Bryan Perri.

Daniel C. Levine, artistic director of the new series, previously told Playbill.com, "With my appointment to the theatre as artistic director for this series, my goal is to bring more Broadway artists to this community. This is a very well-known theatre. Our executive director, Allison Stockel, has put it on the map. And now, we are able to bring top-notch NYC Broadway talent to Fairfield County."

An Evening with Joel Grey, Feb. 19 at 8 PM
An Evening with Stephen Schwartz, April 2 at 8 PM
Betty Buckley Live in Concert, May 7 at 8 PM
