The Broadway-connected cannabis dispensary has launched an online guide with everything cannabis users need to know before taking in a show.

Theatre District–adjacent cannabis dispensary The Travel Agency is launching a new initiative aimed at connecting Broadway fans with the perfect cannabis products for enhancing their theatregoing experience. The unique campaign comes from the store's connections to the stage world, which includes having Srđa, who began their career working on Broadway productions such as Mothers and Sons and the Deaf West Spring Awakening, as senior manager of brand engagement.

“I remember organizing underground 4/20 concerts with some of today’s top Broadway performers," says Srđa. "We used to be scared to promote them, so it’s amazing to see cannabis now recognized as a legitimate part of culture.” Among those promotions are a partnership with Playbill that will see ads in Broadway Playbills, and sponsoring new musical An Axemas Story at 54 Below.

The store has also established relationships with several members of the Broadway industry to explore further how cannabis can enhance the theatrical experience on both sides of the curtain. “Cannabis is a healing plant for me,” says Bex Robinson, currently a cast member in Broadway's & Juliet.

“Cannabis isn’t just recreational—it’s plant medicine," adds Vanities and Beauty and the Beast star Litty (formerly Jade Jones), a brand ambassador for The Travel Agency. "I use CBD for stress, CBG for pain, and CBN for sleep after performances."

The Travel Agency also counts Broadway stars such as Adam Lambert, Patrick Page, and Andrew Feldman among its clientele.

"Cannabis can help you come into full presence,” says Amirose Eisenbach, co-producer of the Los Angeles revival of Reefer Madness: The Musical. "Theatre audiences, especially older generations, are often intimidated and don't know where to begin on their journey with the plant. Places with an approachable aesthetic like The Travel Agency can definitely help bridge the gap and illuminate how cannabis can enhance all art forms."

The store has launched an online Theater Portal that provides a curated guide for cannabis products that are designed specifically for theatre fans. Whether you're looking for an enhanced theatregoing experience, increase relaxation, or enhanced creativity, The Travel Agency's Theater Portal will help fans find the perfect cannabis product. Find the Theater Portal at TheTravelAgency.co.

The Travel Agency operates three legal cannabis dispensaries in New York, two in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn.
