Here, via email, we hear from stage and screen star Tom Wopat, who recently released a new holiday album, "Home for Christmas," which he recorded with his "The Dukes of Hazzard" co-star John Schneider, for D13 Entertainment.

What show recently impressed you?
Irma la Douce at Encores! Loved it! It was almost like a cabaret show rather than your typical “Broadway musical.” It was such a different style.

What production are you most excited to see?
A Delicate Balance to see John Lithgow. He's so talented and very personable. He's a great guy in a great play.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
Stone in City of Angels. I have so many great memories of being in the original production with Michael Rupert and Dee Hoty. Michael and I killed it on "You're Nothing Without Me." I worked directly with Cy Coleman on the score, and he was the best. I'll never forgot the lessons in jazz he taught us. I made my Broadway debut in Cy’s I Love My Wife and that led me right to “The Dukes of Hazzard.”

What are your current/upcoming projects?
John Schneider, who co-starred with me on "Dukes," have a new album “Home for Christmas” out with jazz songs and some of the standards you love. It’s a bit different from your usual holiday album — it opens with “Christmas Time is Here” from the Charlie Brown specials. My producer Dave Finck and arranger John Oddo helped us find some great numbers. Schneider and I are doing a bunch of concerts throughout the season. I am working on a new record, too, probably focusing on my favorite singer/songwriters. Plus, I have a new play coming up. Keep an eye on TomWopat.com.
