St. Louis, Missouri's The Muny has announced the directors, choreographers, and music directors for their 104th season, which opens June 13.
Camelot, directed by Matt Kunkel, choreographed by Beth Crandall, and music directed by Abdul Hamid Royal, will run June 22-28.
Next up is Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, July 5-13. The production will be directed by Avenue Q Tony nominee John Tartaglia and choreographed by Patrick O'Neill. Original Broadway Mary Poppins music direct Brad Haak will assume the baton for the Muny production.
Sweeney Todd will be helmed by Rob Ruggiero, with musical staging by Jessica Hartman and music direction by James Moore, running July 16-22.
Legally Blonde, running July 25-31, will feature direction by Maggie Burrows and music direction by Lon Hoyt. The production will be choreographed by William Carlos Angulo, whose MUNY season audition combination to Legally Blonde's "Legally Blonde (Remix)" recently became a viral dance sensation on TikTok.
Lili-Anne Brown will helm The Color Purple August 3-9, with choreography by Breon Arzell and music direction by Jermaine Hill.
The season closes with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat August 12-18, directed by Josh Rhodes and co-choreographed by Rhodes and Lee Wilkins. Sinai Tabak will music direct.
The MUNY's artistic staff includes Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson, Artistic Associate Michael Baxter, Production Manager Tracy Utzmyers, and Music Supervisor Michael Horsley.
