The Almeida Theatre production of Lulu Raczka's Women, Beware the Devil plays the London venue February 11-March 25.
Opening night is February 22.
Helmed by Artistic Director Rupert Goold (Tammy Faye, Patriots), the cast features Leo Bill (The Duchess of Malfi, Posh), Carly-Sophia Davies (Spring Awakening, The Eternal Daughter), Aurora Dawson-Hunte (Queens, Cherry Orchard), Ioanna Kimbook (The Duchess of Malfi, Bitter Wheat), Nathan Laryea (Spring Awakening, Tartuffe), Lydia Leonard (Little Eyolf, Wolf Hall), Alison Oliver (Best Interest, Conversations with Friends), and Lola Shalam, who is making her professional debut.
Women, Beware the Devil follows Lady Elizabeth, whose first priority is protecting her family’s legacy and their ancestral home. When that comes under threat, she elicits the help of Agnes, a young servant suspected of witchcraft.
The production also has set design by Miriam Buether, costume design by Evie Gurney, lighting design by Tim Lutkin, sound design and music by composer Adam Cork, and casting by Amy Ball.
