Photos: See Cecily Strong, Patti Harrison, Miz Cracker and More Visit Off-Off Broadway's Snatch Adams

We bet you didn't have Cecily Strong posing next to a giant vulva in your year-end bingo card. The Schmigadoon! star recently went downtown to pay a visit to the raucous, and body-positive, new play Snatch Adams & Tainty McCracken Present It’s That Time of the Month. Written and starring Becca Blackwell and Amanda Duarte, the play is structured like a daytime talk-show, but it's hosted by a giant vagina (Blackwell) and an anus (Duarte). It was just extended to December 10 at Soho Rep.

In a previous conversation with Playbill, Blackwell says the play was inspired by the legislative efforts to restrict women's reproductive rights and the rights of trans people, but using comedy: "If heterosexual cis women aren’t being taken care of, or revered, or even seen as equal, then my status as a queer, or especially trans person is going to be completely invisible."

They address this issue through comedy (the character of Snatch Adams was inspired by the Robin Williams film Patch Adams). And in the play, the talk show is filled with jokes, audience games, educational segments about how STIs shouldn't be seen as shameful, and special guests who talk about their relationship with their own bodies. And at the end, the guests take photos of Snatch Adams and Tainty McCracken.
