Theatrical performance artist KESH will celebrate the release of her new single "If i Beg" with an immersive NYC pop-up event, to be hosted at Mooncalf Gallery March 15-21. The event will showcase six new artworks, and will feature archival merchandise and interactive activations. During the event's run, the pop-up will host a single launch party, an intimate artist talk, and a special drawing club.
"If i Beg" marks the second installment in KESH's evolving new musical era, with press notes describing the track as an "avant-garde love song [exploring] the delicate balance of union and self-worth." The single will first release on community-run platform Audius, with a wide release on all streaming networks following March 28.
‘If i Beg’ is my first love song," says KESH in a statement. "One that not only speaks on loving another, but also loving yourself enough to be able to walk away.
"I decided to do my exclusive pre-release with Audius because it gives me an opportunity to create a personal experience for the collectors of my work. Utilizing the artist owned platform to provide the track before it hits all streaming platforms gives us a moment to immerse in the creation as a singularity instead of something that is part of the whole. It’s like the digital version of going to a record store to collect a new release."
"If i Beg" follows KESH's 2024 release, "Cried For You."
