The previously scheduled production of Mike Lew’s Teenage Dick at Pasadena Playhouse will now be presented as a streaming option only due to the rising COVID-19 cases around the world, and will be available February 3-27. The film capture was recorded in Boston during the play’s run at Huntington Theatre Company.

Special Watch Party events will include live pre- and post-show talks with creatives from the production. The first is set for the stream's February 3 "opening night" at 7:30 PM PT, and will feature playwright Lew, director Moritz von Stuelpnagel, and actor Gregg Mozgala, along with host Sandra Tsing Loh. A second watch party will be held February 10 at 7:30 PM PT with the entire cast of the production.

The co-production between Pasadena Playhouse, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and Huntington Theatre Company was originally planned to be performed February 1-27 on the West Coast. By streaming the piece, producers will still be able to pay the artists and crew hired to work on the project and reach a broader audience. Tony nominee von Stuelpnagel directs.

A return engagement of Holland Taylor’s Ann (March 22–April 24) and Freestyle Love Supreme (July 12–August 7) are still scheduled as planned, with one more production to be revealed.
