Now in its 8th year, the promotion, which began Sept. 9, makes $20 tickets available for 45 Off-Broadway plays and musicals 20 minutes prior to curtain.
Peter Breger, chairman of the non-profit Off Broadway Alliance said in a statement, "We are thrilled to be able to offer $20 tickets to many of New York's most popular and exciting Off Broadway shows, including Pageant (the beauty pageant with a twist), 50 Shades The Musical! (the naughty and hilarious parody), Piece of My Heart (the jukebox musical with songs of the great Bert Berns), and many others."
All 20at20 ticket sales are cash only.
20at20 is presented by The Off Broadway Alliance (OBA), a non-profit corporation organized by theatre professionals dedicated to "supporting, promoting and encouraging the production of Off-Broadway theatre and to making live theatre increasingly accessible to new and diverse audiences."
