
James Lloyd Reynolds, Laurie Wells, Austin Miller and Kristen Martin are among principal players. Reynolds makes his Goodspeed debut as desperate stage director Julian Marsh; Wells, a Broadway Mamma Mia! veteran, is diva Dorothy Brock; Miller, a popular contestant on the TV reality competition "Grease: You're the One That I Want," is amorous tenor Billy Lawlor; and Martin makes her Goodspeed debut as a chorus girl who has the chance to be a star, Peggy Sawyer.
42nd Street, the classic backstage tale of the creation of a musical during the Great Depression, features music by Harry Warren, lyrics by Al Dubin and book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble. It's based on the Warner Bros. film of the same name and the novel by Bradford Ropes. The 1980 musical includes "Lullaby of Broadway," "We're in the Money," "Shuffle Off to Buffalo" and the title number. It won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Abner Dillon will be played by Erick Devine; Jonathan Stewart will play Pat Denning; Dale Hensley will play Bert Barry; Dorothy Stanley will play Maggie Jones; and Jenifer Foote will be Annie Reilly.
