Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda first started mixing his musical theatre phenomenon with the likes of pop stars with the release of his Hamilton Mixtape. The album stars Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Ashanti, Ja Rule, and others singing songs from the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical.
Now, Los Angeles-based artist Michael Korte has arranged a mash-up of Hamilton songs and Beyoncé tracks for a seven-minute performance. Arranged by Jared Jenkins, the video features singers India Carney, Vincint, Mariah Maxwell, Jej Millanes, Kelly Margareth Lee, and Jamond McCoy.
In it they cover everything from “Alexander Hamilton” to “Right Hand Man,” from “Survivor” to ”Crazy in Love,” from “Wait for It” to “Helpless,” “Irreplaceable,” and more.
