Waitress choreographer Lorin Latarro and Tony-nominated Avenue Q star John Tartaglia will direct musicals in Bucks County Playhouse's upcoming 80th anniversary season in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
The 2019 season will kick off May 17 with the Frederick Knott thriller Dial M for Murder. Directed by Mike Donahue (The Legend of Georgia McBride), performances will continue through June 15.

Tartaglia will then helm the international hit Mamma Mia!, which utilizes the songs of ABBA and will be presented June 28-August 3. The production will also feature choreography by Shannon Lewis and musical direction by Will Shuler.
Stage and screen star Sally Struthers (All in the Family) and Carter Calvert will be seen in Ted Swindley’s Always … Patsy Cline, the musical that focuses on the friendship between the country music icon and Texas housewife Louise Seger. David Galligan will direct the August 9–September 7 run with musical direction by Shuler.
Bucks County Playhouse Artistic Associate Latarro will direct and choreograph the Tony-winning Once, beginning November 8. The Enda Walsh, Glen Hansard, and Markéta Irglová musical, based on the film of the same name, will run through November 30.
