The musical previously played runs at Malvern, Pennsylvania's People's Light Theatre in 2022 and Chicago's Studebaker Theatre the following year.

American actor Cedric Neal, most recently seen as the "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat"-singing Nicely Nicely Johnson in London's immersive Guys & Dolls revival, will star as legendary rock-n-roller Price for the London performances.

The cast will also include Joshua Clemetson as Young Lloyd and Vanessa Ela Young as Emma plus Craig Armstrong, Alishia-Marie Blake, Matthew Goodgame, Robert Grose, Sharlene Hector, Danielle Hunter, Aaron Lee Lambert, Christian Maynard, and Jamai Robinson. U.K. casting is by Pearson Casting.

Price grew up in New Orleans before launching a music career in 1952 and becoming a success in pre-Civil Rights America. Bringing together Black and white listeners through his music, the show features an ensemble of singers and dancers singing some of his most well-known hits, like "Lawdy Miss Clawdy," "Stagger Lee," and "Personality."

The musical features a book by B. Jeffrey Madoff and Price and music and lyrics by Price. Sheldon Epps is again directing after staging the U.S. runs with choreographer Edgar Godineaux and music supervisor Shelton Becton also reprising their work for the U.K. premiere.

Adam Hess and DR Theatrical Management serve as U.S. executive producers, with New Road Theatricals as U.K. executive producers and general managers. Visit PersonalityMusical.com.
