Directors, music directors, and choreographers have been named for the seven musicals—including The Muny premieres of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights and Sara Bareilles' Waitress—that will be presented during the St. Louis venue's 106th summer season.

The season, which runs June 17-August 25, will kick off with the international hit musical Les Misérables, playing June 17–23. Seth Sklar-Heyn will direct the season opener, which will also feature choreography by Jesse Robb, and music direction by James Moore.

The outdoor season will continue with Dreamgirls, which will be directed by Robert Clater with choreography by Lesia Kaye and music direction by Anne Shuttlesworth. The Tony-nominated Tom Eyen-Henry Krieger musical will run June 27-July 3.

Avenue Q Tony nominee John Tartaglia will direct the subsequent production, Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Running July 8–16, the family-friendly musical will also feature choreography by Patrick O'Neill and music direction by Annbritt duChateau.

The Joseph Stein-Jerry Bock-Sheldon Harnick classic Fiddler on the Roof, which runs July 19–25, will be directed by Rob Ruggiero with choreography by Parker Esse and musical direction by Darryl Archibald.

Helen Hayes Award winner Lili-Anne Brown will direct Bareilles’ Waitress, also marking its regional premiere, July 30–August 5. The limited engagement will have choreography by Chloe O. Davis and musical direction by Andra Velis Simon.

The creative team for Miranda’s In the Heights, to be presented August 9–15, includes director-choreographer William Carlos Angulo and music director Roberto Sinha.

Helming the final production of the season, Cole Porter’s Anything Goes (August 19–25), will be director Marcia Milgrom Dodge, choreographer Jared Grimes, and music director Ben Whiteley.

A host of Broadway favorites typically populate each season at the St. Louis theatre. Casting, by the Telsey Office, will be announced at a later time.

The Muny artistic staff includes Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson and Associate Artistic Director Michael Baxter. Tracy Utzmyers is the production manager, and Michael Horsley is the music supervisor.
