New York City singer-songwriter Keren Abreu makes her theatrical debut this year in the 2018 New York International Fringe Festival, FringeNYC. The solo show, From A Distance, premiered at the festival October 12 and features Abreu and her band: Elena Conn, Ian Miller, Chris Peters, Jeb Roberts, and Maggie Toth.

Inspired by her song about meeting someone at a party, falling in love via a Facebook profile, and never seeing the person again, Keren examines how the internet and technology have shaped and impacted her life and relationships.

Additional performances take place October 18 at 7:15 PM, October 22 at 7:15 PM, and October 26 at 8:45 PM. For more information and tickets, visit FromADistanceNYC.com.
