Tony winner Katrina Lenk will star in a concert performance of Emily Xu Hall's musical adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, held April 2 as part of Prospect Musicals' IGNITE concert series at Baruch Performing Arts Center.

The cast will also include Lisa Helmi Johanson (POTUS, Into the Woods), Ari Afsar (Hamilton, Wedding Season), Sam Balzac (Fifty Million Frenchman), Jordan Bell (The Wizard of Oz; Kiss Me, Kate), McKenna Michael Bisaha (Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile; The Lesson), Jenna Rose Husli (Teeth, Sister Act), Dino Nicandros (The Jury, The Cher Show), and Rick Rea (After Peter, Kingdom of the Moon).

Cherry Orchard has been developed at NYU Grad Acting Alumni Association’s Studio Tisch, American Music Theatre Project at Northwestern University, CATWALK residency, Musical Theatre Factory, University of the Arts Polyphone Festival, Page 73 Writers’ Group, and SPACE on Ryder Farm (Working Farm).

Daniel Sefik (conductor, Hamilton) will music direct, with Mateo Chavez as music associate. Zachary Longstreet will be the production consultant, and Zhiwei Ma will produce.
