Broadway favorites Jessica Vosk (Wicked) and Mauricio Martínez (On Your Feet!) will host a special tree lighting event at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park in New York City November 28, at 6 PM. The ceremony will also stream live free at WinterVillage.org.
The evening will also premiere Ice Theatre of New York's performance to Duke Ellington's Jazz Nutcracker, choreographed by Broadway Dancin' star Kolton Krouse. Also featured will be Olympic champions Mariah Bell, Karen Chen, Ryan Bradley; world champion skating duo Alexa Knierim and Brandon Fraizer; and skating groups Ice Theatre of New York, Figure Skating in Harlem, and The Skyliners.
This year's tree stands 48 feet tall and weighs more than 8,000 pounds, which includes more than 1,000 oversized ornaments and approximately 12,000 lights.
Attendance is free and unticketed, with entrance first-come, first-served. Seating opens at 4 PM.
